The execution of horizontal elements provides for the attachment of each individual slab to the structure and in particular at the points arranged along the pillars. The weight and static reactions of the elements are therefore absorbed by the structure and do not require the laying of continuous foundation beams. On the other hand, continuous foundation beams are required for the laying of the vertical elements that find an attachment point at the top of the structure, dock beams, and at intermediate points of the building, upwind beams, for considerable heights.
