It is the latest realisation, in order of time, in the field of exposed concrete exterior finishes; bearing witness to a continuous search for aesthetic solutions and willingness to meet the demanding requirements of important designers. This design was produced by Architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni and submitted to the technical staff of the Zecca Group for serial production. However, it is difficult to speak of seriality when faced with an artefact that presents itself, due to its strong expressiveness, as a unique piece.
Created as an external finish desired by prestigious clients of the LCD architecture studio, it is available for realisations that make use of the consultancy services of Luigi Caccia Dominioni. The final result, of great aesthetic impact, is given by a search for delicate proportions combined with a massive work of continuous adjustment by the technicians involved in the realisation. The ‘Gran Bugnato’ version is also available. with decorative modules of double the proportions of the normal finish. The process by which the rusticated finish is brought to the reinforced concrete slabs allows for both vertical and horizontal structural elements and, in some cases, even curved parts of buildings. Characteristically, this finish acquires its greatest value with very special coatings for the choice of which consultation with the creator of this prestigious design is essential.
